Longtime racer Claude Beaulieu chased the NHRA trail for many years, competiting in E.T. bracket, and later in super gas. Now teamed with Charles Beaulieu from Auto-Moteur motorsports in Quebec, Canada. He's really enjoying himself tuning and driving the Bracket monster. His efforts were capped off last year being the second fastest car in the Quebec province.
Claude constructed the steel chassis of is 67 Pontiac Acadian Canso. Out back is custom four-link, Koni coil-over shocks, and Dana 60 rear end. The housing is filled with a spool and axels from Strange Engineering, fitted with a 4.10 ring and pinion from Richmond Gear, and brakes from Mark Williams. Torque meets terra firma via 16x33 Goodyear slicks mounted on Center Line wheels. It's alcohol-burning, 541 cubic-inches big block chevrolet makes almost 1600 hp- with the help of a Mooneyham blower. The Bow-tie using a Crower crank-shaft, Eagle rods, and Wiseco pistons.
