Here is some pix of Australia's Nitro F/C champ, Peter Russo doing what he did best - big burnouts and he had the biggest header flames! In 1996 he ran the fastest elapsed time recorded here for a F/C with a 5:39 at 281. He runs a KB 8 litre aluminum engine (496ci) with a SSi supercharger, Waterman/Endearle Fuel system, BAE billet heads, Mallory Ignition. It runs on Nitromethane and consumes 12 gallons per run. The car is a plueger chassis- chrome moly with a Chrisman live axle rear end and a AFT multi lock up clutch- they use the 5 plate disc set up. The body is a dodge daytona. They were 4 times Aussie Champs and retired from Australian racing in 1998 to pursue thier life long dream of racing in the US. 1999 will see them debut a brand new car from Plueger and a body from Densham.
