86 S-10 Truck About my truck: I purchased it for $500. but it was rolled 3 times. It went from a 4 cylinder to a 406 small block. The motor is all fresh w/ new parts. It recently ran a 7.94 in the 1/8 on pumpgas, street tires, mufflers, a fairly small 270 CompCams hydraulic, and an Edelbroc carb. It has 35 spline custom order Strange axles and Sommers Bros. spool and 5/8 Strange studs. An 8 point Alston Chassis keeps it straight. It is currently in my shop torn down for some Horse Power goodies such as a .630 lift 288 CompCams Roller, Brodix Track 1 X's & intake, a Barry Grant 850 Silver Claw. Also, the transmission is dissasembled getting a Hipster Trans Brake to take advantage if the 3500 Stall. An MSD 2 step to enhance the 6AL already onboard and rebuild the line lock and I'm ready to Race full time. I have all my street setups logged on my 'puter and am looking forward to seeing what all the HP changes have done. The thing I like about my truck the most is the fact that ALL work except the engine machine work was done by me alone.
